On the 4th till the 7th of August 2015, 29ers’ scouts have completed their Perkhemahan Unit Beruniform – Kursus Asas Kepimpinan (Uniformed Units Camp – Basic Leadership Course) and Wood Badge Leadership Training Course (Peringkat III).
For us, this camp was not the same as any other camp we have been through. We were asked to make our own tents, make our own ‘bed’ (hammock) and start our own fire.
We have gained so many new experience from this camp despite the sleepless nights (what are camps without sleepless nights right?).
The scout commissioners and trainers that came from all over Malaysia made this camp a more memorable camp. Other than training us to be competent scouts, they made our love for scout grew fonder based on their sharing of their own experience. Their willingness to come over and share their knowledge make them the living proof that being a scout is fun.
